Dwight grew up in Tucson. As a young rock collector, Dwight's first antique was a lawyer's stacking bookcase that his grandmother bought him to display his collection. During his teenage years, Dwight collected enough merit badges to become an Eagle Scout! After he graduated from Northern Arizona University in Flagstaff with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration degree in 1984, his passion became collecting, restoring, and re-selling antiques.Christy grew up in Anchorage, Alaska in a house full of antiques.

This is my second time stopping by the store in three years. I'm now planning to come every time we visit Tucson. Incredible selection of Native American jewelry and extremely knowledgeable staff. They give credit to individual artists and share lots of information about the pieces I purchased. If you are looking for vintage Native American jewelry, or even contemporarily made jewelry, do not miss this! This is the place you've been looking for.

The American Antique Mall was suggested to me by another store as a place that might be interested in some items I was looking to sell. I brought a few items as well as some photos of a few other items that were more difficult to bring in to see if they would have any interest. The lady that assisted me(an owner I believe) and another employee were extremely kind and took time to look at everything, photos as well, and made a very fair offer.

I returned the next day with the items she had expressed an interest in and both owners helped me as well as another employee, all of which were very kind and friendly. They took a few minutes to research the prices of some items and showed me so there were no questions about the number they were offering. Again, they made a generous and very fair offer and I am extremely appreciative of them. Additionally, the store is stocked with a huge inventory of beautiful items, that are very reasonably priced. I highly recommend visiting. I will surely be back to shop soon! Thank you so much!

It's cute quiet and the prices are pretty spot on. I felt some of the workers were a little rude but that isn't the main thing I try to focus on. If you like unique spots you definitely need to stop in here!

This is a great place to shop for something unique. The owners, Dwight and Christie, go out of their way to help customers find what they are looking for.

I was really excited to find this store. My 1st visit I bought a $165 ring and had a great time. My 2nd visit I was interested in buying another ring or two. until the owner belittled me and talked to me like I don't have money. I just found this place and already won't be coming back. Do you embarrass all your customers?

They were knowledgeable about everything in their store. Especially the jewelry! We are visiting from Lakeland, FL and went twice since we have been in Tuscon. The staff was very friendly and helpful. We loved this shop and spent many hours in there! Amazing Native American jewelry!

Best in the area for Southwestern jewelry, antiques, artifacts, history and prices very reasonable. Owners are there every day for personal customer service and very trust worthy. They've been around here for years and seem to capture some real gems. A talented silversmith is on hand daily and can fix or design anything. He'll beat any jewelry store prices. Don't be fooled by its location on Grant Road. It's worth the drive from Oracle or Manuel.

My husband and I had a positive experience browsing through the store during our visit in Tucson. The lady who helped me was very informative and patient. I tried on several things just for fun. I finally bought a beautiful ring, necklace, earrings and pendent. Prices range based on seller, but affordable pieces can definitely be found! Highly recommend checking this place out.

This is one of the few quality antique stores left in Tucson. The owners have a very attractive store with a tasteful selection of furniture, jewelry, and other unusual items. They also have an on-site jeweler who can size your ring while you shop! The owners are a pleasure to deal with and I recommend stopping in whenever you are in the area!

Seemed to have a good selection, but no "public" restrooms even after I told them I have IBS. So I didn't have much time to look

So deceiving from the outside, once you enter you realize just how big this place is and how much wonderful merchandise they have. You could spend hours here checking out all the fun, interesting and historical items. The prices are very fair and the owners kind, caring and interested in answering any questions. There seems to be a little of everything here, jewelry, furniture, pictures, books and much, much more. Highly recommend checking out this business, sure you will find something you like.(there is a parking lot behind the building with additional parking ).

My husband and I love antiques and SW pottery and jewelry so on our recent trip to Tucson we came across American Antique Mall. This is a very well set up shop with a very wide variety of items. The collection of Native American jewelry was splendid. I like the older heavier pieces. The couple that waited on us were very knowledgeable and so helpful. It looks like a small place from the outside but there is lots to see inside.

I went into this surprisingly really large antique store last month to sell a good amount of silver. I really had no idea where to take it, I just figured because it was a pretty old silverware set, that perhaps an antique place would want it. I picked this one at random, but I was SO HAPPY I DID! As soon as my husband and I walked in the door, two of the nicest people you'd ever want to know greeted us and offered immediate assistance.

As it turns out, they weren't even interested in purchasing my silver, but the gentleman primarily helping us Dwight, he still took the time to sort through everything I had brought, taught us a little bit about how to spot real and fake silver, was even kind enough to recommend a place in Tucson that according to his personal experience, he thought paid out the highest dollar amount on silver.

Both people really went out of their way to make sure my husband and I were well taken care of.even if not by them. Further, they have a really cool store that is SO MUCH bigger then it looks from the outside and it's full of cool things and even better in my eyes, very kind people working there. Recommend highly this shop to anyone!

A well organized antique mall, they are not as crowded as some places in town, but they also know the value of their items, so bargain hunting is not the main draw. It is cool to look at old items and reflect on the past. Each area has different seller's items and you can certainly feel the mood of the seller's booth. Parking streetside is crowded and maybe a little dangerous pulling out.

There is better parking behind the building. The best thing was the friendly staff, they were not intrusive nor were they following you around nor did they ignore you. We go and look around often at antiques, and this mall certainly will be a regular stop. I noticed a definite western theme for most of the mall, but there were a variety of booths and collections. Pricing was based on the various seller's but I would say the prices were moderate, with some booths being very pricey.

Beautiful and clean store with very high end merchandise. I saw a lot that I wanted but nothing I could afford. The staff was very nice and checked on me from time to time to see if they could help me. I saw a gorgeous piece of stained glass. I just may have to hit my savings and go get it!

RUDE, RUDE, RUDE I don't know how you have any customers in your store, you need to take a lesson in Etiquette. I have never come across such rude people as the ones who work and own the Antique stores here in Tucson no wonder why so many stores are closing. I think you need to take a trip to England and deal with some "Real Antique dealers" and learn a thing or to about dealing with the public and Antique collectors.

I got in here kinda late on Saturday about 4:30, They close at 5. First and foremost, They have amazing stuff, Not just jewelry and furniture for the girls, They have guy stuff too! Before I walked out, I was over 3 bills lighter. Girlfriend found a killer Lucite purse and I found an amazing metal flake 60's helmet. I really liked this place.

The staff was very courteous, and so kind. I don't know what Sarah H. is talking about? They helped when we needed it and left us alone when we were discussing things. I figured they'd be rushing us since we got in so late, but they let us stay an extra 20 minutes just to make sure we looked through everything we wanted. Who does this? No one. Pricing was better than we are used to living in Cali so it was on average about 25% cheaper than usual.

I was going to give this place a 5 star, but I couldn't because they had no antique/vintage clothing. Most places at least have a few items. I will definitely be back when I come to Tucson again.

I have honestly never been so insulted as I was when we walked into this antique mall. As soon as we opened the door, two woman practically jumped on us, "Can we help you?! Are you looking for anything we can get for you?". When I responded that we just wanted to look around, the other woman followed us through the entire store, as if I was about to steal the silver.

I picked up a small glass piece to look for a price, and she almost yanked it out of my hand. We are regular putterers and have introduced our children to flea markets and antique malls with great success. They have learned how to search for a bargain, how to barter and how to behave in a store. Here, everything was locked down under glass cases, and the staff treated us like criminals from the moment we opened the door. We will never go back.
