Antique Cupboard Sterling Antique Cupboard is a family owned and operated business that has been in operation for over 40 years. Owner Phil Dreis is author of Warman's Sterling Silver Flatware: Value & Identification Guide. What started as a small family hobby has grown into one of the largest sterling silver matching services in the country. Our flatware inventory consists of over 100,000 pieces, which includes the largest selection of Victorian silver in the United States.

We buy and sell silver, specializing in rare patterns, one-of-a-kind pieces, museum quality figural silver, Tiffany sterling, and heirlooms that will be treasured for years to come.
Services
All silver (whether previously owned or new) is thoroughly inspected for product quality and is guaranteed to be in excellent condition for its age. Pieces may reflect slight variations in backstamps, markings, weight, or size, depending on manufacturers' changes in design, or the length of time in production.
Custom made pieces are made from an original piece in your pattern that are not otherwise available or difficult to find on the market, especially in discontinued patterns. Hollow handle items are made from an original handle in your pattern with a new stainless or silverplated implement. Then the piece is hand-finished by a highly skilled silversmith in the USA.
Antique Cupboard stocks over 300 sets of sterling flatware which includes every budget and desire from a 32pc set of Oneida sterling for $1495 to a 178pc set of Tiffany Ailanthus in its original custom fitted chest for $49,500. Just inquire about the style you like and we can suggest several options to fit your needs. We can also customize any of our sets.
Each piece of jewelry is guaranteed to your satisfaction. If you don't love it, simply return within 30 days. All of our jewelry is guaranteed authentic by our Graduate Gemologist of the Gemological Institute of American (GIA). Insurance appraisals are available at no charge at the time of purchase upon request.

I LOVE the sterling pieces they sell on eBay! I collect Shiebler Fiorito, which is hard to find most anywhere, and they always come through with unique and beautiful quality pieces. Thank you for being such a great resource in assembling my Fiorito collection!

I had a 120 piece sterling silver set (some pieces missing) that was my grandmother's and that we would never use. I sold it to Antique Cupboard for what was probably as good a price as I could get, short of selling individual pieces or such on eBay. The process of sending my list of pieces, getting a quote, shipping and getting my check, went very smoothly.

Very fast response to request for quote. Very pleased with amount offered and thrilled silver probably won't just be melted down. Very fast turn around, they received on a Wednesday and check sent out Friday, arriving following Thursday. All in all, transaction took about two weeks and I live in Washington State. Highly recommend, they are honest and very quick. Thank you!

The Antique Cupboard sent me a quote very fast. They offered more than other silver dealers. Their instructions explained they mailed checks on Fridays, I received my check in the mail on Monday (less than 3 days) and I live in Michigan. The instructions were very simple and easy to understand and follow. The Antique Cupboard is AAAAA+

Sold my silverware to Antique Cupboard, got a great price. I hear all the complaints about high prices to buy silverware but if people can only get want silver ware is worth in weight someday all the old silverware will be melted down. Buyers- if you purchase silverware here you will be helping Antique Cupboard prevent more silver flatware from being melted down.

In addition their service was quick and everything they promised. I would highly recommend anyone with solid silver flatware interested in selling contact Antique Cupboard for your best price.

Whenever I go onto eBay to buy sterling silver flatware (which is often) I routinely fast-scroll past all Antique Cupboard logos. A.C's prices are OUTRAGEOUSLY HIGH! Whatever style/pattern/purpose you're hoping to fill, it can usually be found from any number of smaller eBay sellers, and usually for at least 50% less -- sometimes even three or four times less! So, unless you won a fifty-million dollar lottery and your mad money can be counted in six or seven figures, why would you want to fork over (no pun intended!) $250 of your hard-earned paycheck to A.C. when you could buy the exact same piece for $62.50 from a small, reputable eBay seller?

And even if that seller does charge a shipping fee of $15.00, so what? it's still well worth supporting the truly "little guy" rather than the smug Antique Cupboard. I can't even fathom why they haven't priced themselves right out of business.there must be fools aplenty out there. Maybe if A.C's on-line sales started to drastically plummet they'd be so panic stricken they'd put a muzzle on their arrogance.they act like they're the only damn place in the world to buy sterling silver.

Very easy to work with. Sold some sterling flatware that was handed down to me and in storage for 20+ years. They sent me an offer based on the value which I accepted, and had a check in the mail within 10 days of their receipt of the flatware. Highly recommend them.

I had some old silverware of my mom's so I contacted them after finding the pattern on their site. Within a couple of days they sent me a bid. I liked that so I sent them the silverware. They actually paid me more than the original quote and they paid for shipping. The whole transaction took less than 10 business days.
