This magnificent Circa 1910 Edwardian Satinwood hand-painted game table displays signs of fine craftsmanship and ingenuity. From the 17th to the 19th Century, card and board games were means to socialize and gamble large sums of money among the wealthy. Game tables are an example of specialized furniture beautifully crafted by a skilled cabinet-maker for such clients.

I am relatively new to the antique world and was put off by a few recent experiences at dealers who were either pushy or condescending. Maribel and Jessica were incredibly helpful and informative, never influencing my decision in any way. I was able to find some great lighting and accessories and am happy to have a found a go-to for antiques.

I called the number listed for this business on their website, to ask for a ***referral for a restoration***(as in, 'can you please refer me to a restorationist'), which BTW is something their website says they do in their FAQ section. (See the screen cap of their website below) The person who answered the phone said, "antique resources, " and I politely asked for a restoration referral the extremely rude person on the other line angrily hung up on me.

I have no idea who they were personally because they almost immediately slammed the receiver down. Even if their website is inaccurate, that is not how respectful adults communicate. I would not want to interact with that guy in person, glad I didn't stop in IRL. EDIT: My guess, based on other reviews and my own experience is that someone working here has gruff manners and a tendency to regret the way they sometimes interact with people. One extra star for the attempt at damage control, if not very effective damage control.

If your in the market for antiques this is the place to go. I can not say enough about the customer service, selection of items, and the quality. Maribel and Katherine are both very professional and knowledgeable. Jerry was wonderful he made a special trip just to look at our light sockets. We purchased many chandeliers, wall sconces, mirrors, and a grandfather clock. Everything looks beautiful!

This place is a wonderful place to visit if you love chandeliers.but I believe most are from Italy? Don't get me wrong, this location will satiate many people with the sheer amount of chandeliers too look at; but out of the 500+ fixtures to look at, many of the styles seem repetitive. The three pictures I've uploaded are just a smattering of the unique items that are different. But a nice place to look at for desks, tables, and other furniture from 50-100+ ago.

The vast array of antiques of which are not found anywhere else because of their uniqueness. The prices are exceptionally reasonable. The owners are knowledgeable and very helpful in helping customers select items to compliment their homes and businesses. Richard and Maribel always greet you with a smile and a touch of levity to make your visit enjoyable and educational. Your shopping visit is almost like visiting a museum. Have fun and treat yourself to a day of fun.

I would like to share the details of my experience. If you would like to know what it feels like to be discriminated against, feel out of place or be judged based solely on your age or appearance this place could be an awakening experience for most people. My wife was actually in tears after leaving this actually quite beautiful store. I am a licensed auctioneer and professional antique dealer.

So fortunately I was allowed to enter. The sign on the front door reads for "serious collectors and trade members only." Being in our 20s and passionate antique collectors and well known business owners we were extremely shocked when we couldn't browse because we had an older woman watching our every move practically breathing down our neck. It was like she had been sent out specifically to mind us.

If you really would like to know how it feels to be discriminated against purely on your age/color/appearance. Visit this place. They have no time to spare to make you feel unwelcome. And truth be told I had several things picked out in the window we were interested in but we had unfortunately been rushed out by our dedicated minder. How truly sad. This is why my generation does not have interest in the antique unfortunately.

I have purchased many antiques at Antique Resources. They have a wide selection of pre 20th Century furniture, lighting, art and smalls. I have never been disappointed.

I am a professional antique dealer and designer, and I just walked in, was treated like some sort of common theif and literally followed throughout the entire store. The worst experience I've ever had in an antique store. Disgusting people.

I love this store. Been buying Richard Weisz' antiques for about 20 years. Each item I have is a treasure to me. All of the most beautiful things in my house are from this store. Never been disappointed with any purchase. Never had any concerns about the authenticity of the items. Possibly more expensive than many other local 'antique' stores, but this stuff is really nice while many of the other local shops have only a few really nice things amongst all the misc stuff.

Almost all of the things at Antique Resources I would love to have in my house. And price is far less than Christies and those places. Really nice and unique stuff at a reasonable price. I love to just hang out there even when I do not have need for any new (old) items. There are so many treasures there to look at that its as good as hanging out at the museum. Obviously my favorite store. Greg Cowell

Pretty stuff, but a rude owner. I wanted to buy a painting from them, but I did not because the price was changed for no apparent reason. The first time was a dry run, as I always do, to discover what I liked, learn the pricing and avoid impulse buying. I found a painting and was happy with the price and planned to return to buy it. The second time I went there the person minding the store was a friend of the owner couldn't confirm the pricing and so I couldn't buy the item.

Third time's the charm; only this time the price was almost twice the original price, and the "lowest he could go." The sticker with on the painting was still on the painting and he ignored it. He was very rude when I didn't buy it.
