As conservators, we owe it to you and your artwork to recommend the best techniques for preserving it for future generations. We offer you the best options to restore your artwork, while maintaining the integrity of the piece. How can you provide the best care for your paintings? See our recommendations.
We find many people don't realize how brittle porcelain and ceramic pieces are-whether they're old or new. Improper handling is a major source of damage to your porcelain and ceramic items, so we've compiled this list of valuable suggestions for the care and handling of porcelain and ceramic art objects and collectibles.
Places of worship like churches, synagogues, temples, and mosques, often contain artwork of incredible artistic, religious, and historic value. Wiebold Studio serves schools, universities, libraries, and museums, preserving statues, murals, paintings and stained glass. The Wiebold team's depth of experience and broad background enables us to carry out virtually any restoration or repair project, either onsite or in our studio.
Most metals corrode on contact with water, acids, salts, oils, aggressive metal polishes and other chemicals. The type of corrosion on your piece depends on the metal it is made of. You may also see breakage, dents and scratches from accidents or the mishandling of your intricate metal items. All of the before and after images are of actual items that we have repaired, restored and/or conserved.

Wiebold Studio did a phenomenal job restoring my antique Gone With The Wind lamp. It's been in my family for over 100 years. They rewired, recorded, & cleaned the globes. What a wonderful job they did. From my initial phone conversation to when I picked up my lamp; very professional and courteous. Jennifer was thoughtful & empathetic to my passionate connection with my lamp. They were detailed with the cord & cleaning to keep it period. I would highly recommend them for delicate, personal restorations.
