Most metals corrode on contact with water, acids, salts, oils, aggressive metal polishes and other chemicals. The type of corrosion on your piece depends on the metal it is made of. You may also see breakage, dents and scratches from accidents or the mishandling of your intricate metal items. All of the before and after images are of actual items that we have repaired, restored and/or conserved.

Wiebold Studio did a phenomenal job restoring my antique Gone With The Wind lamp. It's been in my family for over 100 years. They rewired, recorded, & cleaned the globes. What a wonderful job they did. From my initial phone conversation to when I picked up my lamp; very professional and courteous. Jennifer was thoughtful & empathetic to my passionate connection with my lamp. They were detailed with the cord & cleaning to keep it period. I would highly recommend them for delicate, personal restorations.
