Cynthia Shaver is an Accredited Senior Appraiser of Asian Art with the American Society of Appraisers ASA. She is the author of the essay Sashiko: A Japanese Stitchery in Beyond The Tanabata Bridge catalog from the Seattle Art Museum, and co-authored Hanten and Happi published by Shikosha. Ms. Shaver has been a dealer of Japanese antiques since 1976.
