I went to this antique store a few days ago to look for some taxidermy or an antique mirror for my new home. The lovely woman who was cleaning the floor was extremely helpful with finding what I was looking for and was so kind and treated me with respect, which is rare since I look a lot younger than I am. I not only found a piece that I fell in love with, but I'll definitely come back just because the customer service was wonderful. A lot of the items are expensive, but that's how you know they're real antiques and true treasures. Thank you so much for a wonderful experience.

Prices here are too high unless you are searching for specific items. An interesting selection and items, the store is organized well and has an emphasis on pioneer-era antiques.

Wonderful Selection of Antiques and Collectables. Along with a full service auction house with constantly changing products. Love the variety

My best friend and I were only in the store for a couple minutes and left right away. The owner greeted us by saying we don't need to wear a mask and we replied by saying it's okay and walked off into the store to look around. He then tried calling out to us from his desk in the front of the store by saying "I don't know why you need to wear a mask when no one is in here" and we were in the middle aisle and my best friend replied by saying it's fine we were just wearing it because we just got back from eating that's why we were wearing it.

He rudely said "what's that have to do with anything" we then went quiet and walked down the aisle we were in and told him to have a good day and he said "remember compliance is subjugation" projecting your opinion is fine but there was no need to keep the situation going on at all and the store is really cool, but the owner did not seem to have a great attitude especially with his "Make America Great Again" sign on the front door. enter at your own risk!

Overpriced, after looking everywhere for 30 minutes I couldn't find anything good to go home with (and i'm interested in a lot of antique different things). I would suggest only going to this shop if you want old overpriced items.

We were impressed by the variety of ivory carvings and scrimshaw artwork from both Alaska Natives and non-natives. Also there were antique furniture and other historical items that one could use for anyone or business. Definitely worth a trip to review the current inventory.

Duane's Antique Market has one of the best selections of antique furniture in Alaska. There are two buildings, three floors, and two covered outdoor areas full of antique furniture. You'll find rare items inside, mostly items that you won't find in most antique stores. While I'm impressed by the selection of items packed into these buildings I'm just as amazed by some of the high prices.

If you're a collector you'll pay top dollar here, but I doubt you'll find these rare items very easily - so maybe the price is worth it? Parking is limited and you'll need at least a couple hours to see everything. Again this is one of the best antique stores in Alaska, so make sure you have time and money with you.
