Emeric liquidated my mother's estate in north Dallas last fall and did a amazing job. He and his staff made since of the shambles my mother left behind and made the process very easy for me. Thanks Emeric!

Emeric DeGaul conducts awesome estate sales! I have attended several of his events. The venues are always well organized, very clean and reasonable pricing. Emeric never makes any special representations about the merchandise on sale; what you see is what you get- CAVEAT EMPTOR! And with signs posted everywhere.anyone expecting otherwise is just sour grapes. Rock on Emeric! Looking forward to the next one!

Not a very trustworthy person! In short, I purchased 25 bottles of wine from Emeric in a presale transaction, from an estate sales run by him in a very prestigious neighborhood in North Dallas. Two days after I realized that the wine, which I paid $1,100.00 cash with no receipt given, was not suitable for sale. After opening 2 of those bottles which were corked and undrinkable and attempted to store the others, I noticed that some of them started to leak once they were laying in a horizontal posture.

I called Emeric to complain about my $1,100.00 purchase and he assured me that he would talk to his client and that at the end of the sale he would take care of my problem even if he had to absorb the cost himself. After the sale, I called him only to find out that he had already settled with his client and since he did not receive any other complaints, he was not planning to make any type of compensation.

I mentioned that I was not happy about the transaction since I would have to throw out all the wine I had just purchased. He once again mentioned that he would talk to his client and would get back to me, Needless to say I have not received any type of response. I since then contacted the Texas Alcoholic Beverage Commission to find out if I had any kind of recourse, and I was very surprised to find out that Mr. Emeric deGaul sold the wine illegally since he did not have a permit or license to do so, As such TABC would not be able to fight on my behalf however I was told that I could pursue legal action for being subject to an illegal transaction.

If you are planning to hire Emeric to conduct your estate sale, be aware;. if a person is untrustworthy with his customers, he can not have a different type of ethics when dealing with a client.
