I accepted their offer of consigning my vintage stove for a minimun price we agreed to. I have all of the messages they sent via email. It has been over a year and if I did not seek them out, I would have no idea what was happening. I emailed them on April 25th asking them to honor their commitment and they did not respond.

I purchased a stove and had 2 other stoves restored. He did a good job on the restoration on one and the other came back without parts that were sent with it. He stated multiple times he would send them out but never did. The stove I bought was picked up in poor condition, worse than when I bought it and certainly not restored. After months of lack of communication on Richard's end to even arrange pick up of my stoves we were disappointed in what we paid thousands for. Attempts to rectify this went unanswered for months and has now led to a need for a civil suit.

I would not recommend. Took nearly a year to get my stoves and another 5 months attempt to resolve this. Another restoration company said it will be a total tear apart and replaster in order to even look nice after all the rust that was allowed to accumulate after purchase. Very sad.

Needed a jacket for an 1896 Round Oak stove. Took quite a few phone calls and waiting.6 months. I think they are good people, seem a bit overwhelmed or short staff like everyone nowadays. Patience and you will have what you will.very few places to get these products anymore.got my old stove going the main thing. I would go back if need be.

We placed our old glen wood stove with Richard Richardson on consignment. The stove was purchased originally from the good time stove company and I was told they could take it back to resell again. The craftsmanship of the repairs to our stove and the quality of stoves in the property are quite exquisite. The store is almost of museum quality. Don't expect a consignment to sell immediately but the process takes time but we are happy with the result.

I sent my great grandfather's cook stove here to be refurbished. It took them almost two years and I'm still missing parts. Emails go unanswered, calls not returned. When we went to pick up the stove, it was set up in the store as if it was for sale. Three pieces are missing and, instead of finding mine, they sent parts from another stove company in New Hampshire that didn't fit. Couldn't be more disappointed or disgusted.

Lousy attitude. I reached out for parts for an old 1925 train caboose stove. He said he had them (6 pieces-$75 each)" they're probably not the exact one for your model, but should fit. " I asked him could he send me a pic. He guy defensive i said, "I just want a pic before I commit" He angrily said "look. i'm not trying to screw you! You want a pic I'll go out there and take a pic, I'm not in the habit of scamming people!" It truly was that quick. "

I purchased a Glenwood Duplex from Good Time Stove Co. in December 2020, and am a happy customer. So glad that there are people like Rich and Sara who restore antique stoves and make them available to the public.

Good Time Stove restored my Glenwood stove from the 1890's. Not only does it look amazing but it is also in working condition and ready to starting cooking again once I can hook it up. Amazingly, they were able to find me several original pieces my stove had been missing for decades and repair a bunch of damage. Beyond the incredible restoration work, the service itself was punctual, informative, honest and accurately quoted.

The final result is more art than appliance. My suggestion is that if they take on your project, be sure to give them some creative room to work their magic. You will be glad you did. I will update this with a picture as soon as I get it in position.

I collect antique parlor stoves, have a glenwood K and just recently added a sidecar to it. Purchased most from the Good Time Stove Company. Sarah the Stove princess and her father Richard do amazing things to very old things. One of my favorite places to do business.
