We keep history alive. Founded by Christian Cranmer in 1981. IMA has also supplied some of the leading theaters around the world as well as some of the most noted costume and prop companies in the industry.
Services
Buying collectibles of any type can be fraught with risk. Over the course of history, within the fine art world forgers and conmen have succeeded in passing off fakes as authentic pieces. The Militaria industry is not immune from this practice. In an effort to combat this trend and assure our customers that they may buy with complete confidence, we have created the IMA Lifetime Authenticity Guarantee Policy.
Vintage British Police memorabilia for sale. Why are British police officers called "Bobbies"? The concept of modern policing has its roots in pre-Victorian England, when the British home minister, Sir Robert Peel (1778-1850), oversaw the creation of London's first organized police force. Before Peel's 1829 reforms, public order had been maintained by a mix of night watchmen, local constables and red-coat-wearing army soldiers, who were deployed as much to quell political troubles as to deal with local crime.

So I've ordered three rifles over the year's from IMA, so I am a returning costumer. The last rifle was a clean and complete snider rifle, the first rifle showed up and it was in unusable condition "my gunsmith word's ", their costumer service was very good and they sent me another rifle, this rifle was a beautiful rifle on the outside, but after my gunsmith said that it was mechanically safe but should be fired from a stand first, I found out that the chamber was oversized and was unsafe.

When I called, I was told that these rifles are not supposed to be fired, I explained that their own site suggests that if you attend to shoot it to have a gunsmith to check it out first. When I ordered the rifle I explained to them that I was going to be shooting the rifle in writing, and then twice on the phone when I called them about the first rifle.

Like others have stated INTERNATIONAL MILITARY ANTIQUES sensors their reviews that are below 4 star's. I paid around 1200.00 for the rifle and their response is "because I fired it I can't return it, because if they sell it to someone else that tries to shoot it they could be held reliable if something went wrong ", I was thinking why would you try to sell a dangerous rifle

Long story short, I paid 1200.00 for a snider rifle, in the order in writing I explained that I am going to shoot it. First rifle showed up and the wood furniture was terrible, my gunsmith suggested that I return it, and ima was wonderful about it and sent me a beautiful example of a snider in it's place, while on the phone I explained to two separate people that my plan was to shoot it sense I had the tooling and brass already.

I took the rifle to a gunsmith "as per ima's suggestion in the description of the firearm", my gunsmith said it looked mechanically sound but should be fired from a rest to be safe. When I shot it everything was great until I tried to extract the spent round, the chamber was way out of spec, and it was splitting the case's, . So I called IMA and said that I have to return it, they said because I had fired the rifle that it couldn't be returned, and that they do not suggest that their Firearms should be shot.

I tried leaving a review on their website but they do not allow reviews under 4 stars, a bit shady. The rifle is beautiful for the type of collector who never shoots their Firearms, but for the rest of firearm enthusiasts this is just a 1200.00 cap gun, it's disappointing sense this is the third firearm I've purchased from them on a very limited income, at a premium price, the other two rifles were expensive but the quality is why I kept coming back. I would have even taken store credit towards my next purchase from IMA, but instead am being forced to eat a broken 1200.00 wallflower of a rifle:.

Collectors heaven. World wide shipping on many items. This is one of the last shops to have big quantities of surplus historical arms. A little problem with my order (wrong item send) was quickly resolved by sending the right item. Very happy with them.

I love International Military Antiques! Their service is great and well managed. I am a huge fan of Pawn Stars and will continue buying from International Military Antiques for a while. I have added so much to my collecting and most of it is from International Military Antiques. Their inventory is so big and they always have what I am looking for. I 1000% recommend buying.

Been checking out the website and this stuff looks awesome! I wanted to inquire about in person visiting, I do know that we need to book a visit however I am not 100% how to do it. I also wanted to ask about in person shopping, if I do book a visit, am I allowed to purchase in person? Really enjoyed the selection you guys have though!

Do not order from them, they have horrible customer service! My son ordered a M40 helmet for his collection. When it came even though it was the size we ordered it did not fit. I paid $8.10 to have it shipped to me and $9,38 to ship it back, when they refunded me my money it was minus $20 in shipping fees. I would recommend shopping on Amazon or somewhere else it wouldn't cost you so much in shipping if the product did not meet your expectations!

Posting on google, because they TOOK DOWN my review on their website! Total disappointment! A birthday of dear person in California was coming up. Ten days prior, selected martini-henry as a present. With free delivery, the parcel would come in late, so during checkout I specifically paid extra $50 for expedited shipping, to make sure it will be in time. Firstly my order was put on 'fraud -prevention hold and I received an email asking to provide 'ID and photo of credit card'.

I reluctantly complied, within a few hours. But never got any reply for days! Had to place 2 expensive international calls, and finally received a verbal OK, but still no email! Then, after i kept writing, and a week after the order, I finally get an reply saying that I had to wait 2-4 weeks for rifle being cleaned & prepared! Had a lot of embarrassment when my present arrived 4 weeks late!

In fact, I got to the USA sooner then my present! A cherry on the top: I paid extra $20 for a Certificate of Authenticity. When person finally got my late present, the certificate inside was wrong! I was for a 1830 kentucky rifle instead of martini henry! (they mailed a correct one after I complained). BTW certificate turned out to be a piece of ordinary A4 paper cut in half( Last time I order at IMA & recommend you avoid them.

Now ima is straight out lying. They are so corrupt that they are trying to fake a response. Please have "your legal team" contact me so they can find I am 100% correct. I had my bank refund my money because of your fraudulent advertising practices. You did not refute it. So please stop trying to make up stuff. You have no clue who I am, which is comical.

Try posting proof. Stop lying, stop stealing people's money, stop adding items to your groupings. Just try to be an honest like you once were. This is sad. i will now share my substantive negative experiences with more sites. Alex, be an honest person.stop this deception in your ads. Stop trying to strong arm real reviews of your bad business practices. Ima lies about items often.

They do not allow anything but positive reviews on their site, I tried.they don't post it. Look 9n Facebook for yourself as to how people avoid this place because of fraud. you WILL NOT SCARE ME OUT OF LEAVING YOU THE REVIEWS YOU DESERVE. Threatening me with your legal team is laughable.

I purchased a chin strap for my WW2 Brodie helmet and the chin strap was comfortable and easy to install but sadly the rubber band housed within the strap snapped only 2 weeks out of the box. i contacted support but they were of no help. i wore the helmet only 3-4 times and the strap was under no undue stress. customer service told me "We do apologize but unfortunately, we cannot assist you, we do not offer an extended warranty on items and we can only accept unused items in return or an item that was delivered broken originally.

Since you have worn the item and used it we are not entirely sure what it was being put through to have been damaged. Thank you for understanding" i am most displeased with this message as i have had good experiences with IMA in the past, their Helmets and helmet liners ive purchased in the past have served me well.

I found something I have dreamed of adding to my collection for a long time that has been hard to come by, at least for me. I emailed them on a weekend to inquire about purchasing it. That Monday morning, they got back to me and I talked to a real person on the phone who was very nice. I was pleasantly surprised with the quick response since I have never purchased from them before, and I know they have some top tier customers they deal with.

That following Friday I had my piece in hand and couldn't be happier with it, it's perfect. I will definitely be a return customer in the future and highly recommend them. I can't thank you all at IMA enough!

I recently purchased a Martini-Henry rifle from IMA, and it was a very pleasant experience. Their site is very easy to use and offers a detailed description of every item for sale (although I'm compelled to mention that their grammar leaves something to be desired at times.) I would definitely recommend this merchant and their site. If nothing else, it's a very fun site to simply browse on, though I intend to do more business with them in the future.

I ordered a Martini Henry rifle from them as a gift to a local veteran, who is a history buff. First off just let me say that when I called the place the order the customer service I received was very very great. The lady I talked to walk me through how to enter the coupon codes on the website so I can get free shipping well it took 4 days to get here and I opened it up to see what I would be giving the veteran, and the rifle was in great shape no missing parts all the wood looks good and all the hardware was with it I give this company very high marks for customer service and products as they described or better.

I'm so impressed with the service and product that I will be ordering a martini Henry rifle from them in 2 weeks when I get home from a training event. I know there are some bad reviews for this company out there but what people don't understand is that you're buying a piece of History, and every rifle or antique that they sell has its own individual story which makes it great

I am very impressed with this companys level of customer service. My order was missing a part. When I made the company aware, they immediately sent the missing part to me without delay. The materials that I ordered were as described and I am very happy with them and the company. I would recommend International Military Antiques to everyone based on my experience. I will also be sharing the companys offerings with all my friends who are into militaria. Best Regards, Chuck Y.
