This place is AMAZING. Couldn't ask for a better atmosphere to gather with friends for a cup of coffee and amazing food. Friendly owners whom I absolutely adore. Very caring and would give their shirts off their backs to help people out. Their menu will knock your slippers off. Amazing portions and just ABSOLUTELY DELICIOUS. I love going in to see groups of people socializing having coffe, tea etc and just enjoying the atmosphere.

Good food and friendly people. We like to visit when we have time in Essex as we are often coming or going to the ferry. As Essex grows into a bit of a cozy but frequented Lake Champlain gem we expect this will be part of building that magnetic reputation.

Best sandwich in town! Great bread and cookies, eclectic boutique. Wonderful coffee/chai/espresso service. Proprietor is 75% of the charm. If you are getting off of/waiting for the ferry to Vermont, do yourself a favor and stop in. You won't regret it.

Went to the Pink Pig after a recommendation from my AirBnB host. Stopped to get breakfast on the way to Vermont and what a delight. The boutique was absolutely amazing, the variety of stuff you can find in this place is pretty awesome. From bars of soap, to pictures and clothing. The breakfast portion was better than expected, and I should of got another sandwich on my way out.

Being from New Jersey, I missed the attitude and character the owner presented. She was awesome to say the least, bold and brash. Just the way I like them. Thank you for having us!

Loved the place. The barista was very friendly. The pastries seem to be home made. I had the almond cherry scone which was excellent.

Fantastic cafe. We were traveling with a little baby and this place happened to be on the way to the ferry to Burlington. Not only the food and coffee are top notch (in fact the best we experienced in our entire trip!), but the owner is a very nice woman who gave us some background about the town of Essex. Highly recommended! We tried the drip coffee and the quiche which were as I mentioned simply fantastic (see photo attached). Definitely, take a stroll along the waterfront of Essex if the weather permits - there is a nice park overlooking the water 300 meters away.

Delightful small town Cafe. Nice place to stop and get a quick snack while waiting for the ferry. I tried the quiche and chocolate chip cookie and they were good. Staff friendly Did not get a chance to try more so could only give it three stars.

This is a review for the cafe, which was just fantastic. I'm a coffee roaster and snob, so won't criticize the coffee being made, but the food was just great. Very nice, friendly staff that treat you like friends. Great prices. If you are on the way to/from the ferry and are hungry, it's absolutely a recommended stop from me.
