Planted Earth was created in 1971 by Dan and Penny Doty as a successful plant store / greenhouse business and has blossomed into a beautiful boutique-styled antique and gift shop coupled with the most fabulous plants and planters. It continues to be an expression of their combined creative and innovative talents! Our store is very eclectic and multifaceted. Customers love the fact that, each time they come in, they find something new and exciting. No one ever gets tired of Planted Earth (including the employees!)

Great place! Cute plants! Unique antiques! The problem is there are a lot of good antique shops out there, and customer service is what makes them great! Their customer service is Bad, all of the people working there were rude and didn't want our business. And for some reason when you come in 20 mins before they close they don't show rings? Why are you not putting the rings away when you CLOSE? We were highly considering purchasing a ring. We came specifically for the rings but the ginger young woman wouldn't allow it

One of my favorite shops of all time! I've been really impressed by the quality and care of their plants and the variety. It's also a fabulous spot to thrift and find some unique antique items!

This had a pretty typical "antique store" vibe with a lot of clutter in small place, it's a little overpriced (depending on what you're getting), and the owners are a bit offputish, BUT I am absolutely in love with their greenhouse! They have some many different varieties of house plants and they were all THRIVING! If you're looking for a place to buy cool house plants, definitely give this place a try.

Need a good refresh for the soul? Stop in at this quant, hidden gem called: Planted Earth. An old house converted into an antique shop, with a connected greenhouse! A ton of classic antique items and clothing, mixed with crystals, hand made jewelry, current social relevant stickers and buttons (Stranger Things, Disney, Joker, Netflix, etc). The greenhouse was so freaking cool!

They had an amazing selection of houseplants and succulents. The staff were around and could answer any care questions if needed. I found multiple houseplant varieties here I have not seen at any other nursery in the valley. Cal, the resident tropical toad was an absolute gentlemen at checkout. Any age group, and a wide variety of interests, will easily find something to fall in love with here at Planted Earth in Orem.

Excellent shop for thrifting, antiques and even plants. Orem is lucky to have Planted earth! I've found many pieces over the years of which I still treasure today.

It's cute, it's quaint, it's a hidden gem. Walking through an antique store you'll find some items for less than you thought you could find them or more than you'd pay for. The real jewel to me is their adorable greenhouse of houseplants. It's enchanting just walking in.

This place is gorgeous! I honestly go exclusively for their greenhouse and it's an absolute hidden gem. The antique shop is very cute and I have found my eyes wandering around at the fun trinkets you can find but the greenhouse! Incredible! You walk in and it just takes your breath away. Everyone is super friendly too and I love trying to find the cute little frog at the register! Highly recommend stopping in just to look!

Quaint little store with unique items that change all the time. Love that they cater to both those who want finished products and those of us who can see potential in something somebody else wouldn't find attractive. I didn't give it 5 stars as it's a bit pricey, but I guess unique finds can cost more at times.

Such an eclectic shop! I loved the plant selection; they had a lot of types you can't really find other places. The rest of the store is definitely a fun place to walk around and get lost in. 100% worth stopping by!

Such a unique antique and plant nursery. She takes amazing care of her plants and the prices are also wonderful. You can find some really beautiful and unique antiques in that house and the house itself is a part of Utah history!

Very cute place and fairly reasonable prices. Garments from $20-60 with a few from the thirties and forties. Sales rack for $8-20. Offered prints, jewelry, and an intriguing selection of plants. You can go upstairs as well for more besides outside. Cute place with a lot. Only 2020-2021 problem is no space for social distancing. Didn't interact with employees but they seemed nice enough. Will be coming back once vaccinated.

I only stopped because I saw VINTAGE CLOTHING on the sign, I'm so glad I did! Not only do they have a huge selection of affordable vintage clothing, they also have a great little plant nursery. That's 2 of my favorite things and therefore my dream store, I'll definitely be back!

Absolutely love this place! I have been here many times and it's always great! Fantastic selection of both antiques and plants; my favorite pothos plant is from here. The owners are great, super friendly and helpful- a real local business. I've gotten so many things here that I love. I've brought several friends here and will definitely keep coming back!

I LOVE this place. So fun to look at all the antiques and plants. I found the typewriter of my dreams here and the gentleman behind the counter was very helpful in assisting me. Highly recommend!

I didn't see any flowers while I was there, but their plants were cute, healthy, and affordable. Inside some antiquities seemed to be steals while others seemed overpriced. It was a good experience. The upstairs screams of being haunted

None of the workers were wearing masks properly, if at all. When I asked politely if one would pull their mask up, she replied, "This is my business" and continued on with her mask hanging below her mouth. If wearing a mask wasn't so easy, I wouldn't be writing this review, but it really is the easiest thing to do if you're not so stubborn or insecure. Also their record selection is wack. No Marvin Gaye?

It's more of an antique shop than a flower shop. I mostly go there for their antiques because they don't have the greatest selection of flowers. The owner was a little ungracious to my mother and I. While one of their employees was helping us pick out a necklace we noticed she wasn't feeling well and needed to lie down. As we tried to help her the owner kept firmly insisting us to leave her alone even though we were only trying to help. I'm sure the owner was trying to protect her employee, however it's enough for me not to go back. Plus the necklace was a bit overpriced.

They've been here forever. It used to be my go to place for flowers. Over the years, flowers has almost become a sideline. As vintage curio shops go, it's excellent. It would get a higher rating for that -- if that's what I wanted to shop for. Do doubt Costco and the expanded flower sections at the megamart are really hurting place like this. It's great to see them morph into something that seems to be working for them. That's great. I just wish the flower select was better and the service to get with someone to help me was a bit quicker.
