Elmer, Bob and their lady helper are awesome folks, kind, friendly and full of knowledge. If want some great antiques and a great price, I recommend you stop by and check it out.

Purchased a pool table at one of their auctions - ended up have a cracked slate - Purchaser told me that they were unaware of it and did not disassemble the table when they brought it in. Professional Pool Mover stated that it was not possible for them to move the table without removing the Slate from the table. Then they responded that it was buyer beware even though they put the felt over the cracked slate so it could not be seen - Will not go back!

Neat looking pieces but there's no prices on anything. Saw a couple things I would interested in but not going to ask the price on everything I look at. Didn't receive a friendly hello nor goodbye. Waste of time

Long term rip off agents. I'm surprise they are still in business. Have a heavy set woman who is a plant, always running up the price but never buying anything. If the stuff was what they say it is they'd have it a Christie's or Sotheby's. High end pricing for knock off items. Fool me once.

Was subjected to an extremely poor experience with Red Baron. Like Gary S., it's all fine and dandy until an issue arises (then the owner literally hangs up on you). I own a very expensive dresser that I'm considering selling at auction/consigning. I emailed Red Baron and included photos and a link to the piece (a reproduction). The sales lady emailed me back they they were interested but when I followed up, I heard nothing back.

So I called instead -- she wasn't in but I spoke with a gentleman. He said they were not likely interested and when I tried to explain that sales lady X said you were (because she wrote that herself in her original reply email), he turned very rude and literally said, "Look, we're not interested in your dresser!" and hung up. Niiice. Why not just say something like, "I have no idea why Ms. X would have said that.

My apologies." So not only was I treated like an idiot, I wasted two weeks going back and forth with them for no reason. Try browsing and buying at Architectural Accents on Piedmont Rd. instead. I know that's where I'll be from now on.

Great place to spend some time. They have a large warehouse space filled to the brim with all kinds of antiques, collectibles, and oddities.

Can't express how disappointed I am with this store. Looks like a high end place but I recently bought a rare phonograph from them that was advertised online. It was supposed to be original and free of missing or damaged veneer. Guess what? The phonograph was missing veneer, the motor was not original. It was so different that someone drilled a new crank shaft hole in the side and plugged the original one!

It was not detectable by the pictures and the staff did not disclose the major flaw. And that motor is a POS too. The tone arm and reproducer were also not original to the machine. I paid top dollar for this phonograph and it is worth half as much given the issues. I feel luck a sucker! What was more upsetting was their reaction when I called and asked to speak to the owner.

They totally blew me off, never returned my calls. I will never buy from this place again and anyone who does should be really really careful. If you want to buy high end collectibles from people with honesty and integrity, this is not the place!

WOW! Can you say grand!?!? My mother-in-law and I went to check this out during our antiques day. All I can say is WOW! This place is HUGE. It had a ton of neat items. Unfortunately, nothing I was looking for. However, if you are in the market for a stadium theater seating set, a 24ft bar, or a $37K, mahogany, king-size, 12ft tall bed frame, this is the place for you! Granted, we didn't check out the whole place.

Most of it looks to be in good condition. There was just nothing that caught my eye. Anything that did was way too expensive. I am definitely willing to go back to check out some of their smaller items when I have the time! Either way, if you are in the area, you NEED to check this place out just to see all of the spectacular pieces they have!

Although the magnificent items offered at Red Baron's are all out of my price range, this is a fantastic place to browse for fun. I brought my parents to Red Baron's Great Galleries when they were visiting (my dad LOVES antiques and oddities like the ones offered here), and they were thrilled by the experience. It's like circus-meets-museum.the merchandise ranges from life-size wax figures of former Russian presidents, antique gas pumps, Civil War relics, stunning vintage furniture, the head of a real giraffe, to a series of statues that depict aliens playing musical instruments.

There is something here for everyone! We were the only customers in the store and took our time browsing, and the two gentlemen working there could not have been nicer. They were happy to answer our questions (no matter how silly or random) and show us where things were. It was a blast! We'll definitely be back here again.

Something tells me Red Baron's isn't for the typical Yelp crowd. Personally I'm one rich husband or powerball hit short of being able to shop at this auction house, but their stock is one of the most incredible collections of epic antiques I've ever seen. I'm talking about entire bars, swanky antique cars, gazebos, iron gates, fountains, chandeliers, statues and yes even one of those bicycles with tiny back wheel / giant front wheel. Things you don't imagine would be auctioned or ever even think about where you would buy one.
