Road Runner Moving

I had my Steinway grand piano moved with Road Runner's piano team. Finally there's a company that knows how to properly and professionally move a piano. They moved our piano and a few other items. The piano crew leader (I'm so sorry I forgot your name) has over 20 years of experience.

Used roadrunner to move into my new apartment, they were great. Corey and Josh were awesome, worked hard and fast and actually came in under the estimate

The last time we moved to Birmingham, the moving company did not support us and left us in the middle. This time we did not go to them, and we thought to move our things on our own. Someone informed us about Road Runner and we checked their website to see what kind of services they offer. Although we liked them, we were a bit concerned if they turn out to be like the previous one.

We still contacted them and told them our requirements. The team immediately turned up and took our matter into action. Right from packing our things to storing them and finally transferring them to our new place, they were with us. We are happy to have contacted them.

We recently moved from Birmingham to Huntsville. Corey, Daniel, and Joshua were awesome. We've used numerous moving companies before and our experience with Road Runner was great. Highly recommend!

WORST MOVERS EVER! Not only did they hit an electric pole (see pictures) and try to say they weren't going to tell anyone.they also moved EXTREMELY slow, didn't move all of our items, and management said they were going to come back the next day but never showed (keep in mind I took the work day off waiting for them)! They REFUSED to speak to the police officer about the pole they hit so I had to call management and force them to speak to the officers.

They also didn't have a tag on a COMPANY VEHICLE! My husband and I both called at least 20x to get ahold of someone (each time we left a voicemail) we received 0 calls back! If I could give this company a negative 100 stars I would! And to make matters worse the employees were extremely rude and clogged our toilet before leaving our home. Absolutely disrespectful!

We have called and demanded our $500 back with 0 response. DO NOT USE THIS PLACE FOR MOVING SERVICES! Also I am convinced the 5 star reviews are from fake accounts/employees.

Worst moving company. Broke my pantry & disrespectful. Don't trust anything they quote you as it was way more once they were done. Also make sure anything they promise you is in writing, they told us they'd come back the next day to get the items that didn't fit onto the truck, never showed up that next day and blocked our number so we couldn't get ahold of anyone. I was in shock how poorly this company is ran.

We have used Road Runner twice now in the past few months. We were moving out of our old house and we had Road Runner put all of our items into their storage. Then once our home had been built we had Road Runner move us in. From the office staff to the crew members and crew leaders, my wife and I had a great experience. Josh was our favorite mover. Highly recommend this moving company.

Critical: Professionalism, Quality, Responsiveness I had a neighbor move and the movers decided to wheel my motorcycle onto their moving truck and steal it that night. They then refused to return my phone calls. Do not use this company.

Critical: Professionalism I had jewelry stolen and 2 antiques broken. I have reached out to Road Runner for over a month and have received zero help or compensation to resolve this matter. Do not EVER use this moving company!

While the quote was about $115 less than our final payment, the movers were not professional or trained. We have several pieces of damaged furniture, scratched flat screen, items broken and a lot of damaged walls. The moves did not cover anything put in the truck or pads between furniture. I am still waiting on a return call after several messages. These movers do not live up to anything they advertise. Do not use them.

Critical: Quality, Value I am beyond upset with this company. And I will never use them. They just moved my friend and broke several of her stuff, damaged items from passed relatives that can't be replaced and then threw them away not even telling them about the damaged items. Luckily her husband came across them in the garbage.

We recently moved to Birmingham and used Road Runner and we had a great experience. We used their climate controlled storage facility for a few months and then they moved us into our new home. On time, professional, and communicated with my husband and I throughout the entire move process. I can't speak for other reviews I've read on here but our experience with Road Runner was amazing. Thanks guys!

Critical: Professionalism, Quality Would not recommend! Items arrived to storage scratched up, boxes burst/crushed, and items broken. It took 13.5 hours instead of the estimated 9 hours. Promised two trucks, but ended up with only one because they needed the other truck at the warehouse. Quoted one price but was charged about $1000 more than that. Hire someone else

Critical: Quality Roadrunner out of Birmingham is a horrible, dishonest company. The damaged some of our furniture and lost many, many items and accused us of lying. The owner is the most dishonest person I have ever dealt with.

Road Runner Moving either lost or stole four Samsung TVs, high end bed frame, surround sound equipment, chair, lamp. These are the facts of my experience with them. I incurred a loss of valuables worth of $10,000. This does not include the multiple items that were broken or destroyed during the storage and move. This was the worst consumer experience of my life. I'm still in shock. Decide for yourself if you should use them for your move.

I used Road Runner moving as they were the only company that I found that would move my upright piano without charging an arm and a leg. The only real downside to using this company was their call center - it took me forever to finally get scheduled and confirmed, since if the phone rings for too long, the call gets forwarded to a call center in another state.

That does me no good. However, once confirmed, the movers were professional and on time, and their estimate for my move was spot on. They were also very fast and efficient. The only down side to the actual move was that they did not wrap the furniture before items were placed on the dolly. The items might have been wrapped once inside the truck, but that just made me nervous. Overall, a very positive experience.

Lamar, Corey, and Paul were incredible in helping us move. Friendly, personable and extremely hard workers. They made a usually stressful day a breeze and we can't say enough nice things about this company! Thank you so much!

These guys were hard working, extremely friendly, and very polite. They were no-nonsense and were always communicated to each other - they had an efficient system in place and all we could do was ask what we can do to help.
