Very over priced, better of to shop ebay. Hard to move through the shop as the aisle are blocked, clutter everywhere. For the price you pay you also get loads of dirt, nothing is organized, repaired, or clean.

Extremely eclectic shop run by the nicest folks you'll ever meet. They have a little bit of everything for anyone, the vinyl collection is insane, the antiques are plentiful and it's way too easy to lose track of time when every box of records holds a potential treasure. Coming here feels like family, and we're so glad that we found this place, could not recommend it more. To top it all off, they've got a really friendly kitty to help you hit the crates on the lower levels!

Amazing selection of records maybe 50,000old style (cardboard boxes!) everything Cool staff, very helpful Also thousands of cassettes, new and used audio equipment. A mixture of Antiques to and a ghost town out the back garden and architectural stuff, You definitely won't be disappointed

POC this one might not be for us. I would have enjoyed my experience here up until I stumbled on a section of racist memos with my partner. The beauty of antique shopping is preserving mementos of the past but, one thing we should collectively leave behind is the notion of keeping racist depictions & evidence. I'm not saying that it didn't happen or will cease to exist but I believe in a every growing expanding safe spaces where people of color don't have to feel uncomfortable when they're shopping. It's disheartening & creates a negative experience. I can't $pend where there isn't respect. All we can do is hope for growth!

Wonderful experience doing business with this store. The owners are conscientious and friendly. I bought a saxophone from them and asked them to send it directly to a saxophone specialty shop for a tune up. The technician at the sax shop was very impressed with the care taken in packing to keep the horn from being damaged. Great Deal, Great Service. Very Nice. Thank You.

Best record store in LA area. Quality selection and everything is reasonably priced. Sally is one of the owners and goes above and beyond to make customers feel comfortable. Highly recommend!

I'm eight time zones away but just watched a new episode of Storage Wars with co-owners Sally and Lawrence Martin valuing some items for Lisa Delarios. They are always great fun when they appear on the show (e.g Lawrence discussing a ceramic hot water bottle made in his native England: "I'm Sir Amic and this is Lady Amic") and their knowledge is amazing, noting an 'antique' bed warmer was a reproduction because of the way the hinge was constructed.

Where do I even begin. This shop is amazing thousands of records fill this shop you could get lost for hours flipping through them. The back is my favorite thing though bring gloves and get ready to dig! We found some amazing treasures for our upcoming wedding decor. They also have a beautiful selection of furniture. Enough about the shop, Sally seriously I want to be her best friend! She's so sweet and so helpful and knowledgeable.

Thank you for an amazing experience. I can't wait to come back and search for treasures again. The only sad this is they wouldn't let me take Zelda home, so if anything I'll be back to visit her again.

A little gem of a store with a kaleidoscope of antiques, interesting stuff, friendly staff and this particular time: A beautiful typewriter in a mint condition that traveled with me a long way to its new home. I will see you guys next time!

One of the most fun and unique vinyl shops in LA. It's slightly hidden in downtown El Segundo. Their selection is huge! You never know what you will find - it feels like a treasure hunt. You may have to clean the record when you get home, but the prices are generally worth it. Sally, Lawerence, & Judy are rad. Always fun to visit and dig thru the boxes!

Super cool place to search for unusual finds - especially old and unique vinyl! Bibs upon bins. reasonably priced although they aren't all cleaned and graded so def take a moment to take them out of sleeves abs look for scratches or ask for them to be played, they will happily accommodate. The owners are delightful and engaging and truly have a passion for their business - plan to spend a little time here and you will uncover some pretty cool finds :-.

Awesome store! Popped in for RSD and came out with 200 bucks worth of classics and rarities. Probably the best store in the Los Angeles area. Stop buy and check it out! The records are great and the prices are fair.

Recently moved to El Segundo and wanted to check out this antique store. Upon just minutes of entering an older man working there accused my husband of stealing something! I've never been treated more rudely by a shop patron. Is this how you treat customers and members of your own community? I was appalled and will NOT be returning. Do not expect a pleasant customer experience here. They will assume you are a criminal and treat you as such.

This place is a treasure trove of fun. Spent all afternoon buying a record player and 45s and albums for my teen. We played each one in the store, from Aretha to Beatles to Heart. love these people, Thanks Sally, Laurence, and Judy!

My friend and I have visited Studio Antiques several times to buy vinyl and have never failed to find something interesting. We've not spent less than two hours per trip. There were always new records each visit. Sally saves items of interest for us knowing we'll be in at some point in the near future. Unlike in many record shops, Sally and Laurence have always been very welcoming and treat customers like old friends. Browsing the store's vinyl collection is for us an adventure.

My friend, the Beatles collector, has purchased several significant albums to add to his collection not to mention the Beatles Parlophone 45 in the original sleeve. I have found some interesting soundtracks and classical records. Every record collector needs to visit this wonderful store. Sally & Laurence keep up the great work!

My friend and I were coming from a breakfast spot and saw this sign that said vinyl. I was just gifted a turntable for my birthday and had been trying to find actual record stores I could go in and check out. I took it as a sign! So we walked down the street and I saw these different antiques outside but when I walked in, OMG! Records upon records upon records! Sally greeted us on the way in and she was so sweet and pleasant!

She gave us gloves and was Covid-19 cautious. She then directed us to the different sections and I went to town! Ended up finding some great classic records. As we left, we found out that Sally too is a fellow Libra with her bday being just one day apart from mine. We made a connection! Very reasonable priced and all records used but in excellent condition! Thank you Sally for making this millennials' first vinyl record shopping the best! Will definitely be back for more!

I LOVE this store and the kind people who run it. It is an amazing treasure trove full of wonders! I met Sally and Laurence earlier today and they do such an awesome job curating items from all over the world. Furniture, records, clothing, home decor, and so much more fill every room and even the backyard and downstairs area. I personally love antique and thrift shopping because it's more sustainable and you can find such cool things from bygone eras that possess SO MUCH character.

Just really neat stuff that's one of a kind. I walked in at the recommendation of a neighbor and have been looking for some furniture for my living room. But I walked away super excited for a little restoration project. Laurence and his team helped me load up my car so I didn't have to move the cabinet at all, which was really nice of them! Sally taught me how to polish this Art Deco piece and two hours later I'm in my living room pretty proud of how my new entryway cabinets look so far : Thank you Sally and Laurence!

I ALWAYS find something here. Sally is the best. Plan on spending about 2-3 hours here or leaving and coming back.like I did.3 times. Left with something each time. You'll have to dig and look under everything. Also the vinyl section runs throughout the store.that may take you a couple of days! A+

First stop every trip to California? Disneyland, of course! Second stop? STUDIO ANTIQUES! Laurence and Sally run a fun and funky shop with so many wonderful items, it's always an adventure every visit! Not only is the shop a treasure trove of cool stuff, but the never ending stream of people that come in and out, both local and not so local are always fun to interact with.

When we visit California, Studio Antiques is at the top of our list of "must pop in" places. It's like a TV show come to life. Always a treat to stop in and say hi to Laurence and Sally, look through the records, wander around the aisles and out back in the ghost town, and see what interesting people come through the door while you're there! (And when you're done, pop across the street to the best 99 cent store you've ever seen)

So what can I say?!, except if you're into vinyl records, they have a diverse genre of music! Great stuff and I found some hidden gems from their selection! My wife was getting her nails done and being an avid record collector I searched for vinyl record shops and lo and behold they were 200 steps down the street. So, not only records but an eclectic collection of antiques for anyone's taste I'm sure happy I swung by as I made new friends and have another shop I can visit when I'm traveling I'll be in OKC soon and hope to find some more gems of either rock, blues, jazz and reggae Cheers

This is a great place to spend hours of free time and to go treasure hunting. I guarantee that you will find something to love at this spot. The owners were very friendly and helpful when i had questions. There are lots of antiques from plates, tables, books, tin cans, bottles (from the 70's) jewelry. I feels like a time capsule and looks like the room of requirement from the Harry Potter movies.

They also have a room dedicated to vinyl records and let me tell you, they have good taste! They have vinyl records from the Clash, Queen, the Beatles, U2 (I saw a lot of U2 memorabilia) and the rolling stones. You can spend an hour alone in that section and thats not even half of the store. I ended up buying a 1975 bottle of 7UP for $5, which is currently on my dresser. I hope to make another stop to buy some records soon.

This place is exquisite chaos. More of an art installation than a store. Be sure to have a look at the outside area in back. Shoppers looking for dusty old. anything really -- will not be disappointed. Large collection of vinyl. There's a sweet old three color cat too.

I've been organizing "A Day of El Segundo" with a handful of my friends who are passionately into vintage. We spend the day in El Segundo dressed up in vintage and of course we have to stop here as it's the ONLY antique store in this town but it's also well worth the browse! Every time we come, we don't leave empty handed and there are really good bargains and very reasonably priced. 2 rooms filled with treasures and the place is well organized with lots to see.

I see new things each time I come and the staff is very helpful if you're looking for something specific. There's also a garden area in the back for outdoor treasures of things you might need for your outdoor garden wants. It's definitely worth the stop every time I'm in this area.

We actually came here with every intention of shopping across the street at 99 Only Stores, but this place caught our attention so in we went! I personally love thrift/antique stores so this was right up my alley. We were greeted by a woman, which I assume is the owner, and she was incredibly friendly and welcoming. There are so many awesome things in this place.

In addition to the stuff inside, they have an outdoor section in the back of the store that is also worth checking out. Unfortunately, we only had enough time to peruse for about 20 minutes before we got going. I'm not exactly down the street from El Segundo living on the east side of LA, but I am definitely going to come back here soon. I need to spend more time going through everything looking for things I definitely don't need but must have.

I've driven past this place several times but never had time to check it out. Well I finally did and was not disappointed. Lots of stuff to look through in several rooms and a whole lot more in the backyard 'ghost town'. Things are piled around everywhere so look on top, underneath and open all the drawers. You never know what you'll find, I can't begin to list the variety of items.

But if you like picking and looking for things you didn't know you wanted this is the place for you! The shop is located on a side street behind Main so it's a little hard to find. But there's plenty of free parking so it's worth it : The staff I spoke with were very friendly and just as happy to help you find something specific as let you just wander around. It's a great shop but be sure to give yourself plenty of time because there so much to see.

We were taking a trip to finally see Randy's Donuts, the giant Donut in El Segundo, so I looked up other things to do around here and found out about Studio Antiques. Honestly, this places floats between a 3 and a 4. it's not huge, and feels more average than awesome. but I decided to give it the benefit of the doubt and go with 4 stars because it is unique in that it feels more like you're a picker.

It isn't organized or displayed particularly well, but that kind of makes it fun because you can go through stuff. And the gem is in the back where they've created a pickers section that are rooms built of junk. I didn't find anything too cool. but it was art! So that has to be respected. The prices were good, and I bet they get new things in all the time, so maybe they just didn't have things that interested me as much this time. Unlike many large antique malls that warrant their own trip. I'd say, this isn't worth a trip by itself, but if you're in El Segundo, for sure check it out!

I happened upon Studio Antiques, while walking down the street, back to my Airbnb rental. What a rad little spot, with the nicest owners you'll ever meet! I love a good antique shop and thrift shop, so this place was a dream come true, the perfect spot to spend an hour browsing. The ghost town out back was really cool, and it was fun wandering around the store, chatting with Sally, and digging around for some finds. If I lived local, I no doubt would've left with many things, as it was, I left with a couple of goodies that were reasonably priced!

The owners are really what make this antique store so special! Featured on several TV shows such as storage Wars and Baggage Battles, it was fun to check out a store featured on TV so often. They are charming and delightful and make shopping and browsing their endless inventory fun. The amount of stuff they have here is insane and never ending. It flows into the building next door as well as the entire backyard is filled with knick knacks. Very eclectic, there is nothing you won't find here. Prices are great, worth checking out!
