From Our Website

Wiswall House is an old fashioned, single owner shop, established in 1975. The shop is located on a tree lined, country road in Durham, NH. We stock two barns to the rafters with a wide variety of American furniture, vintage lighting, mirrors, pottery, fireplace equipment, and decorative accessories, in a warm & friendly atmosphere. We enjoy personal contact with our customers and will do our very best to help you find your hearts desire. We are open Wed - Sat from 10 - 5 and Sundays by chance, though we are usually here from 12:00 - 5.

PLEASE NOTE: Due to the fragility and unpredictable replacement value, we prefer not to ship ceramics. We do apologize for any inconvenience this may present.

In addition to our furniture and lighting we have many accessories for your home and even your workshop! Items include dishes, glassware, and pots; tablecloths, aprons, and vintage clothing; bookends, doorstops, paintings and prints, mirrors and rugs. Hundreds of frames, old tools, and outdoor gear like snowshoes. We can't possibly list them all here so bring a coat in case it is cool and come browse our shop!

We have dozens of country or formal table dressings: crocheted, hand embroidered, or damask in linen, cotton, silk and velvet. You'll find rugs, paisley shawls, lace curtains, and beautifully crocheted bedspreads among many other items. Note: Be sure to measure your table before you come so we can find the right table covering for you. The crazy quilts shown below are made of silk and velvet, with ornamental and feather stitching separating the pieces. A couple are dated, some are not. One or two have minor fabric damage on a block or two.
