History: Frank and Rose Marie Francis, owners of Hillsdale Barn Antiques, have over three decades knowledge in selling and buying quality American country antiques. They moved to Hillsdale, New York, in pretty Columbia County, in September 1999. The shop was opened in May 2000. The open shop occupies 2,000 square feet in a wonderful nineteenth century barn.

Alfons Sutter was born in Swilletzerland. He opened his 1st store in London at the prestegious Kings Road Market in 1973. In 1976 he opened Sutter Antiques in New York City where he delt in Oriental furniture and objects. In 1991 he moved his business to Hudson New York situated in the historic Hudson River Vally, after falling in love with the region.


Keystone is the establishment of James Russell Godman, Jr. a 2nd generation antique dealer born in San Francisco, CA and raised in Cincinnati, OH. His parents' Mainville, Ohio shop, Four Chimneys Antiques, specialized in early Americana and Shaker furniture. Godman maintained his business in Cooperstown, NY for twenty years, where, he dealt in early Americana furniture.
