After breaking ground in November 1998, we opened for business on March 31, 1999. Our new building was designed to be an efficient antique mall. Today many antique malls have accepted crafts, trinkets and miscellaneous nic-nacs; however, we aim to retain a true antique and collectible venue.
With nearly 15,000 sq. ft. to work with, owners Dan and Brenda gathered over 35 dealers and consignors to provide 1000's of items of every variety for sale. When entering the store you'll find an indoor main street. Visitors stroll through the general merchantile, through the bank and on to the sheriffs room and barber shop.
Catherine Clatworthy, AOCA, CPF Cathy Clatworthy, a native Canadian and graduate of the Ontario College of Art & Design in Toronto, gave-up the corporate fast lane as a graphic designer to dwell among the antique prints at The Allery, her former downtown Toronto gallery of eleven years.
