We currently have a huge range of Continental and French antique furniture and French decorative antiques for house and garden. Our focus is on eighteenth and nineteenth century French furniture such as Louis XV, Louis XIV, Directoire, Empire, Regence and later periods. In addition we currently have a huge range of Swedish Gustavian furniture and Continental pieces including Biedermeier.
Susquehanna Antiques was established in 1913 by the current owner's grandfather. The original shop was situated in Port Deposit, Maryland, along the Suquehanna River. In 1982 we moved to our present location in the Georgetown area of Washington, DC. In addition to our huge range of antiques and fine art, we currently have a backyard full of nineteenth century cast-iron garden benches and ornaments.
Susan Eubank and Karen Snyder have partnered in the antiques and design business since 1994. We cherry-pick our sources from Boston to Atlanta, and have even combed the famous Paris marche aux puces flea market, to bring a dazzling collection of antiques and objets to you and for our design jobs.
