Shady owner HID a seller's valuables in his backroom... stated items were sold in a "lot" .. yet .. never compensated the seller... but obvious intent was to make a total profit on the seller's valuables and pocket the money. He's shady !..MINUS star.

Horrible for the Seller. The guy is either very shrewd or very stupid. Sellers need to get everything in writing and demand all "tags". Don't allow him to lowball or said he sold your item for a lowballed price. Attend the auction set a min. bid or you may find he states he sold your valuables

I purchased a Gustav Stickley drop-front desk and found the proprietor to be knowledgeable and willing to spend a lot of time with me. They are reasonably priced and very honest people to deal with. I would definitely deal with John, the owner again.
