Scott's passion since childhood is to collect antiques. Growing up in Omaha, Nebraska, he browsed local antique shops and started collecting as a teen. After graduating from Arizona State University with a B.A. in Art History and minors in Business and Chinese Mandarin, Scott moved to Seattle where he opened Singer Galleries in 1981.
