Acanthus Antiques was established in 1989 in the Washington, D.C. area. We have been under continuous ownership and our roots go back to the 1930s in New York when there was a family decorating business. Acanthus Antiques specializes in Fine and Decoratives, antique furniture, and antique, estate, and contemporary jewelry. In 2016 we relocated to Charleston, SC. and are now exhibiting at Antiques at South Windermere and Seventeen South Antiques in West Ashley, Charleston, S.C. Additionally, we maintain a large private by appointment showroom.

This is a fabulous very long necklace by the designer, Marco Bicego. The necklace has alternating different sized bezel set gemstones alternating by hand hammered gold spheres. It is marked Marco Bicego, Made in Italy and 750 for 18K gold. An Exceptional 14K gold Edwardian period pendant on chain. There is very detailed openwork with a bezel set cornflower sapphire in the center.
